Getting a dating advice from the guy in this picture? From his looks there is only 1 way left for him to date: Choose a woman that you can control mentally. And those, who are controllable the easiest are the ones you allready have power over by possessing a higher position in a religious cult. Those, who look up to you, dont dare to contradict and most importantly wouldnt be believed by others on what happened during the date if they ever found their will to speak up anyways...

How deep the Father’s love and grace for us. In understanding it, we will not toil to achieve righteousness on our own. “Spotty” repentance, asking for forgiveness over the superficial behaviors is not the aim. Grateful for Tim Keller. I did not earn salvation to begin with. Love that concept.

As usual Keller completely misses the point. The point is, dating a non-Christian is disobeying God’s commands in Scripture which are clear that we must only marry in the Lord and that we should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Period.

One who needs to repent regularly is not saved. Otherwise, they would be changed. Jesus does not forgive our sins daily. None of our sins are forgiven until we receive salvation. At Salvation we are forgiven for all of our past sins at once. Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit, and we are transformed to righteousness. After that we can stop sinning. Scripture says: 1 John 1:9-10 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." When Jesus purifies us from ALL unrighteousness it is Not temporary. It is permanent. The Apostle John confirms this: 1 John 3:6 "No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him."

I was super, super addicted to certain sin for years and years and year.Like watching TV series every single knight and Idol worshiping and more for example. Although I did believe in Jesus. These addictions were very, very, very strong. If I confess them and ask for forgiveness. Will Jesus forgive me. I wish a paster with tons of Bible knowledge. Can answer my question. According to Revelations 21 Verse 8 there are sins that can't be forgiven and send you to hell. 😮It clearly says that. Well here's the thing. What if there is a sin I did for 27 years and a insane amount of times. But now I stopped doing it and feel regret and remorse. Plus I confess it and ask for forgiveness. Will I be forgiven😢😢😢 I wish I could get a answer from the right person. 😭😭

If u have believed the gospel (john 3:16/1 Corinthians 15b1-4) then u have the ability to Renew your mind to who you are in christ! THE PROBLEM IS YOUR TRYING NOT TO SIN!!..... what do i mean? Instead.... just look at Jesus think on Jesus...and what he has done and who u ARE in him

God already forgave me of ALL my sins the day I got saved. I don’t ask Him for forgiveness everytime I sin, I tell Him I’m sorry. The forgiveness part was taken care of on the Cross. By a Christian asking Him fo forgive them everytime you sin you’re really saying He didn’t forgive you of all your sins when you asked Him to save you. Sin is a DNA issue. When we got saved He saved our soul not our flesh. This is exactly why He died for our sins. His Blood covers ALL your sin. Past, present and future. You apologize for your sin, you don’t ask forgiveness. Our bodies will be saved at the Rapture (Romans 8:22-23 “ For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.” He already forgave you when you met Him at Calvary. You will continue to sin until your flesh is redeemed. This is exactly why He died for us. Sin is a genetic issue. Hebrews 10:10 “ By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.” So if you are sanctified once for all then why are you constantly asking for forgiveness? Tell Him you’re sorry and that you will (with His help) work on subduing your flesh.

I’m not religious, but this makes perfect sense. Anything you value will take precedence in your decision making and religion is peoples most valued ideology and had the greatest effect on ppls actions. It’s that very extremism that I try to avoid, bc I know muslims who are amazing ppl and the good parts of their faith make them that way, but if they believed every word of the Quran they might be violent extremist. In the same way, I think Christianity affords a lot of blood shed and pain in the name of Jesus, and it’s all based on “facts” and info we could never truly confirm. Some lessons of the bible may ring true as general moral guidance for life, but no more so than stories in the Quran and other holy books. But in general, any religious person wouldn’t be a great partner for someone who doesn’t share the faith in the same way that a vegan wouldn’t fit with someone who owns a butcher shop. Religious views will always take precedence to everything else and would lead to fundamental disagreements that couldn’t be overcome without one person folding on their morals

A Christian yes I would date. More to the point us non Christians should never date a fundamentalist. I dated a fundamentalist. Decades later I put the experience in one of my own vids. But in a nutshell this was how it went. I was an agnostic/unspecified theist as I am today. Probably closer to a Jew than anything else. The family was friendly to me only until they realized I wasn't going to convert--which they attempted to intrude on the second they met me. They told the daughter how I "had to get to church etc." And I knew more about the bible than all of them put together. Her family and friends eventually got her to break it off. It was like trying to push against a tidal wave. But the real eye opener was the hypocrisy. The father had another illegitimate daughter from an affair, the sister was a stripper and their pastor hanged himself after he got caught sleeping with a fifteen year old. But the guy who considered marriage to the daughter was a red flag because he dared question a book he knew from cover to cover which they had never even read. Saying I have a problem with fundamentalists? That is an understatement. They are a cult, pure and simple. Cheers, DCF

And Hebrews 13:4 considers sex outside of marriage to be immoral: “Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.” This verse can't just be limited to adultery, since both “sexually immoral” and “adulterous” are listed.

Evil is the opposite of God and it becomes real when the creature chooses to be the opposite of God. No disobedience no evil! Evil is created by any creature with intelligence & power of choice. If these creatures choose to obey God there can never be any evil, but when the opposite is chosen then evil exists. God never creates evil, but in case it comes in existence by His own creatures, He's able to handle the situation because of sovereignty & almightiness. Sin isn't created by God or self- existent! To be self-existent would mean it's god on it's own & God who's not a liar says that there's only one God. Sin can only be created by creatures choosing the opposite of God NOT God for God can't choose His own opposite.

I dated an unbeliever for 3 years and loved him deeply, always will. When we started dating he had christian values and said he believed in God, was protestant. I let loneliness tell me that was enough. Six months in he said he did NOT believe in God. I hung in there for another 2.5 years but in the end we just were not working out of the same toolbox. He had nowhere to go with his issues, no foundation or anchor to settle him. I'll love him forever and pray for his salvation always. Asking God to change his heart and save him and bring him back to me, but trying to trust in His will if that doesn't happen. Big heartbreak on having to end it😢.

I think one aspect to consider is that sin can also hardened a heart. I believe God recently grabbed my attention over habitual sins by saying we MUST grow. We cannot live forever while embracing whole heartedly pursuing sins. That will absolutely lead to death. You can't commit adultery then ask for forgiveness then commit adultery again every day for the next 70 years until the day you die all the while asking for forgiveness. He can still forgive us and I'm thankful that He does, but He desires that we be trees that product good fruit. We were meant to grow. The tree that does not bear good fruit at SOME point gets plucked up and burned. If we struggle with sin, we can keep grasping for God but let's not embrace the sin. I've done that in the past and He recently shook me up over it. We were meant to grow. Don't just stay stagnant. Fear God, and flee from temptation.

God never tells any one to violate his word. The person that said he or she was saved through marrying a christian must understand that God did not tell the so called Christian to do that. He or she did that on his or her own will. God could have easily punished him or her for sinning and setting the wrong example. Mature christians do not rationalize God's word. Desperate self centered people do. Wrong is wrong!!!!!!! We are to be examples not confusions too others around us. If a man rapes a girl and that child becomes a king, was the rape justified? NO! That is a helpful hint to all you so called Christians. By the way, I bet out of a 100% that mabe 3% of all those who call them selves christians are real. Satan is a master at deception.

This is really a great video if you want to understand two things: A. Why legally recognized gay marriage is such a big deal...because those who hold the view that marriage makes sex moral would no longer be able to use the argument that homosexuality was sinful because the partners could not be married. B. It shows how the patriarchal colonization of intimate relationships is still present in the modern church. The word "belonging" has two different connotations, one is romantic, the other is sinister...and we have a better understanding of property rights than we do of self-sacrifice. C. bonus: If the Lord's Supper is symbolic of sex, it is the strongest case for premarital sex that I have heard as this event falls chronologically before the wedding feast in the New Testament. If you are curious about a New Christian Sexual Ethic

Sorry, but I pretty much have to disagree with everything he said. No, if you confess your sin, talking about a sinful habit, turn right around and keep on doing it over and over, you are delusional if you think God is forgiving and cleansing that sin. No, God will take you to the woodshed and wear you out. Confessing sins means more than simply admitting you've done something wrong and asking forgiveness. The word confess in the Greek literally means to say the same thing about something, not simply admit what it is, but to denounce it and turn away from it. First John 1:9 should be compared to Proverbs 28:13 "He that covers his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy." When you are saved God has become your heavenly Father and you are His child. He treats you as a Father would a child that He loves very much. He will not look the other way when you just admit your sin and go right back out and do it again and again. No, you WILL NOT be forgiven if you keep repeating the same sins over and over again even if you confess them daily. If you had a child that did something wrong and in order to avoid your chastisement came immediately and ask your forgiveness and the the next day or a few days later did the exact same thing again. How many times would it take for you to catch on that your child was not really sorry for their sin and was not forsaking them? Make sense? I think it does. First John 1:6-10 is a wonderful passage, but don't use it as an excuse to keep committing sinful acts. God knows your heart and He WILL take you to the woodshed and wear you out. See Hebrews chapter 12 and read it carefully.

Don't marry an unbeliever. My dad did, and I have to say it's the biggest mistake he's ever made, which indirectly ruined my life, but by God's grace I was saved 10 years ago, and my mom as well, but honestly she ran the household, and she was not godly, she was physically and verbally abusive and my father condoned that. If you want to ruin your life and your children, marry an unbeliever.
